Finally, the 2 days of photo shooting for our pre-wedding has completed! It was rather a fun and exciting experience for both of us!
Day 1 – Outdoor (FRIM) & Indoor (House of Picasso, Sunway)
We arrived at the bridal shop around 1030hrs, then I was brought in to try on the gowns after alteration was made from the previous trip I came back for gown trial. A few gowns needed to be altered as it was too loose. Then went up for make up. What a coincidence the make up artist was Jeron, the one that my first SA introduced. Then when completed around 1330hr, we start our journey towards our first location which is FRIM. The weather was a bit cloudy on the journey to the destination. When we arrived there were 2 other couples taking photo too. So we get down and start taking photo shoots. I was feeling a bit awkward as I will have to pose in front of so many people. Then I couldn’t smile properly as was feeling tense up. Hubby was great with his poses! Then we moved towards another spot which there were mud!! My brand new shoe caught in the mud…and stained the whole lovely shoe, was quite disappointed but still the shooting has to continue whereby I can’t throw tantrums! But anyway, hubby promised that I can buy another shoe. Then it started to drizzle which made the shooting put to a pause. Went back to car and our photographer, Charles decided to change location. Upon reaching the other location it was still pouring, so we will have to wait in the car for a moment. Then luckily the rain has stopped pouring and we proceed to the waterfall area. There we shot a few shots on the stairway. After that we went to the waterfall to get some shots there too. We didn’t actually take much shots there, probably due to the rain. Then around 1630hr, we proceed back to the bridal shop for indoor shooting. We had lots of shots for indoor as I have 2 WG, 2 EG and 1 costume . We weren’t able to complete the indoor on time as for my 3rd gown it was nearing to 2130hrs already, we started shooting around 1800hrs. I had so much great time with Charles and his assistant Sunny. They were so humorous and they were so great in posing. We chat while we took photos, even story telling. Then finally we call it to an end around 2210hr, we were so tired and decided to continue the next day with the final WG and costumes. It was really fun in the studio, posing and posing so many different ones!
Day 2 – Indoor & Outdoor (Port Dickson)
We arrived at the bridal house around 1030hr, then I just bought a milk and a stick of fishball as breakfast. Then Jeron arrived, so I quickly gobble down the food and go for the make up. Then upon completion of make up we commenced the shooting once again! This time the WG will be taking my “Tiny” a huge 5feet teddy bear! I was so excited! We took quite lots of photos for indoor as Charles said so as he has covered most of the views in the studio. Then we changed to the costume as Charles recommended something else instead of the one I chose. I chose Spain style but he said that doesn’t look great so he suggested the some Chinese old costumes which he said will look nice on me instead. After that we quickly changed gown for outdoor shooting as its already getting quite late, then there were some alteration problem which we only depart around 1510hrs, we reached Port Dickson around 1645hrs. We reached at the spot and we saw a couple there too ready for photoshooting, so Charles told us to hurry up to get to the spot before they do as it will take sometime to wait for the spot. So I quickly ran up to the spot to park myself there, haha…it was hilarious. Then we took a few photos and this time it was seriously tough job for me. I have to face the sun and open my eyes wide with smiles! My eyes was squinting when I face the sunlight! It was so tough, so Charles suggested me to close my eyes and only open when he wanna capture the shot. So I did, some was successful but some not due to the sunlight too bright and I squint my eyes. Then Charles suggested to lie on the stone to capture some shots there, so while I was lying on the stone with my myself sweating like crazy due to the sun, my hubby was using the little portable fan to blow some cool air, then Charles was like “Oi meh” then he also scolded my hubby cause the portable fan was in his shot. Its was so cute and funny yet making me felt so lovable by my hubby. Then we went to this grassy area for shooting, then I suggested to Charles that to take the angle from top as it will look so much nicer. Then he tried to do so with me lying down on the grass and my hubby with his buddy carries him up to the shot from above. We didn’t bring the chair that we brought along yesterday, such a waste. The shot was really great! Charles said it was his first time taking from above at this location. We were having so much fun. Then after few shots we went to the beach side for shooting. It was so great to play in the water. But they were a bit scared due to getting wet without any spare clothing. Hubby bought me 2 heart shape helium balloon for me as I requested for it. We were so excited taking photo with it. And of course not to left out some of the other accessories we brought alone which is the heart shape hammer, heart shape sticks, lollipop and others. Then last shot was Charles asking hubby to take photo of our reflection from the helium balloon which is looks odd but it was fun as hubby holding the camera and shooting. It was for MV purpose. I am so excited! Total we have more than 300 photos to select! We can only select 55photos!!!!! This is a tough job to do.
After that we went to Seremban to eat their famous roast crab for dinner as we were so hungry. Then we were chatting on our way back with Charles telling his experiences. Finding this team of people were so nice! Enjoyed well within these 2 days. Hoping for the outcome to be the best. Then Charles told me that he will add one of the grass top shooting into Facebook to let us view. Was pleased to have him as our photographer. Thank god! He did even ask me to hire him as our Actual Day photographer but sadly have already engaged with another great photographer, Derek Chai, and this I will definitely enjoy another round as this will be a whole new perception!
Thinking whether will I be able to sleep tonight~~~~Still blogging while awaiting for my hair to dry~~~
