Yesterday night, mother and I went shopping at Jurong Point. It was so huge that we didn’t manage to finish walking around as we only had 2 hours time to walk around and most of the stalls closes at 2130hrs. I bought some stuff for mom, bought her a new sandals to put it here in Singapore so the next trip she doesn’t need to bring extra sandals. Then I told her that I bought a passport cover, I brought her to the shop and showed her a few design and she likes one of it. So I bought it for her.

This morning I couldn’t wake up and accompany mother to wet market so I asked my brother to accompanied her instead. Mother bought meat, vegetables and seafood. Tonight is ‘Bak Kut Teh’ night! Mother prepared the ingredients already and now we planned to go to Chinatown to walk around for a while. This was our breakfast…

Back from ChinaTown, it was so crowded. Sales everywhere but we only managed to get a wet market trolley for mom to buy groceries, do not need to carry with hand just put everything into the bag and troll around.
Then came back, mom starts to prepare all the ingredient which I too help out a bit. Then mom starts to cook and I help out to carry it to the table. Then Sophia reached and I went to pick them up. We have a big feast tonight. Till I was so full and bloated.

I just had the most delicious dinner ever since I came to Singapore!
This morning, I accompanied my mother to the morning wet market just opposite the Bukit Gombak MRT Station. Went around the circle to look around the stalls. Then mother spotted her favourite shop. We bought a few things to cook dinner. Mother bought brocolli, chicken drumstick, fish, fish cake, tomato, potato and carrot. Any idea what she made for dinner?

WARMEST WISHES MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!!!!
This Christmas holiday my mother and hubbie came down from Kuala Lumpur to visit me. On Christmas eve, my hubbie reached Singapore and celebrated with me. We had dinner at Novena then we head back home, we count down at home with my brother! Though it sounds boring but it felt so warm being with family and the one you love. Yesterday mother reached and David cousin brother fetched her from the coach station then they went to East Coast Jumbo Seafood Restaurant to have dinner while I am still working. Then they bought some take-away food for my brother and me. But then I didn’t eat much due to need to work on the next morning whereby I will need to wake up at 0520hr.
Today we had dinner with my best buddy, Sophia at Holland Village Sushi Tei restaurant. While waiting for my friend to arrive we had starters – sashimi! Then when they arrived we ordered our main course and had lavishly. Till we are so full! Then we went to Coffee Club to have Mud Pie. Suprisingly mother love it so much and had 2 portions! The photo can be reviewed in the few previous post. It was so delicious. At least she was happy. Then we headed back home but my brother went back to work apparently he had some unfinish work needed to be done. As for my dear dear, he went out with his gamer friends. Still awaiting for him to return home. Tomorrow he will be going back to Kuala Lumpur at the same time tomorrow I will need to go to the wet market to get some groceries as mother want to cook dinner ‘Bak Kut Teh’ on Sunday! Yummy! Will take some photo and post it up later. I invited Sophia and her boyfriend along on Sunday! Yohooo…

This was the first time I am celebrating Tong Yuen festival away from home and without making any Tong Yuen by me.
I was working morning shift yesterday and on the way back I dropped by at Mr Bean to buy the 3-in-1 soya whereby it consist of soya milk with soya beancurd with glutinous ball filled with peanut. Then when I got back I decided to make the nuggets that I got free from Fairprice Xtra a few days back. I made nissin noodle adding ham and sausage into it. Then I fried a few pieces of nuggets. Then brother and I had it as Tong Yuen dinner. After that, we had the 3-in-1 as dessert. That night was the most filling dinner I ever have. Though not as nice as mother’s cooking but we had it happily.

Awaiting for mom to come down to Singapore to cook for us to eat. Miss her cooking dearly. She will be coming down on Xmas!! (Mother is coming down on Christmas- sing it in christmas song tune)

I wonder how am I going to celebrate my birthday in the year 2009. I remember my previous birthday was just celebrated a few months ago with my darling and parents. My dear brought me to Ikano to walk around and eventually we end up in the jelly shop and he bought me a jelly cake as my birthday cake since I wanted something special.

See how delicious my jelly cake looks! Yummy, if I ever have the chance to book earlier then I will be able to choose the flavor of the jelly but then those ready made are only pandan flavor. I shared it with mom and dad. I almost finished all.
That’s the last celebration we had. Then I came to Singapore. During my first few weeks in Singapore, brother took me around to eat. Then Sophia my best friend brought me to Coffee Club to have mud pie. Then I found it very delicious and tempting so I asked my brother to bring me there and have it. He had this delicious smashed potato with beef and I had the shell pasta with white sauce. Dessert of course the tempting Mud-pie. Top part was the coffee ice cream and the bottom part was the thick brownie…yummyy!

I manage to take a photo of brother’s office, the outer part.
