Octoberfest! October 29, 2007

On the previous Saturday, I went to the October Fest. at 1Utama rainforest. It was great! They have foods by Dave’s. Most of their things are a bit costly but there is this booth for getting a beer for only rm1 ( 2 50cents coin) limited to 1000 customers only. If any of them want to get 2nd bottle they have to finish it and return the bottle. Kim Fei and I didn’t queue up for it, we bought some other beer instead and a plate of sausages and ham with cabbage and mashed potato. Everything cost us rm50.
Below are some photos I took during my fun there and some video performances by the German band.

My sweet darling…

Wanted to take photo of us together at the event so I took by myself. Sweet.
It started with an opening ceremony by the German band playing their instrument.
The preview of the area of the stalls, quite little stalls actually but it’s fun. There prepared enough chairs and tables for the guest.
The RM1 beer that I was talking about. The queue started 10minutes before 5pm.
Look at the amount of beers they arrange on the table. My goodness dear. But then limited to 1000 customers only.
Another beer stall but this one with big mugs so it’s much more expensive rm30 per mug I think.
This is the only food stall by Dave’s restaurant, our only Food Marquee. Anyway it serves sausages, ham and bacons with cabbage and mashed potato with a piece of bun.
These are the youngster working on that day. An event to remember.
This stage is situated far end over the other side. Quite fascinating perfomances the band did.
Below are some videos I took on that day…cool watch it.

Just came back from work. My work place just had a party for farewell to the old building where on the 19th we are moving to the new building and on the 22nd we are officially working at the new building. Photos will be up loaded later.
When I came back from house, the first thing I opened the entrance door, I saw smoke all around. I was shocked and I saw this thing on the table burning. OHH MYY GODD!! Just come kind of incense my mum is burning. Then I saw this huge cross with jesus on the table with cute angels with lights. Oh my god…since when my mum are into these. Anyway I teased her saying mum since when you become a christian…
But then mum did go to church before last time. Mum is bothering me asking me to post this up so Ju and Jarod can see how nice her decoration is. Okay, I have done what she told me too. Stop bugging me.
I have completed the scarf already. Now I am making a muffler, another hour it will be finished then I will be making a hat then stocking. Okay okay, I know Ju you are asking where is yours, wait till I finish for Kim Fei first, his place is under 0 degree celcius, very cold. Snowing there in November. Give me another week and I will start your’s and small ziraffie’s.
Being in charge October 9, 2007

Today, I am the only SN (Staff Nurse), so I need to be in charge
of the ward with two SEN (Asst. Nurse). Today I was quite alright, everything was done neatly until I forgot 1 patient’s MC. Luckily, I got it and gave it to her before she goes home. If not, *du dum* I will get bombarded by my ward Sr. in charge.
Anyway, today was a little quiet morning duty comparing to the other morning duty, horribly busy. Lots of them discharges today around 4 of them. 1 came in for early labour. She came in with complain of lower abdomen pain like period pain, so we did a CTG (cardiotocography) to observe the fetal heart and also her contractions. Anyway, there is mild pain 1:6. So Dr. Noor came to examined her and did a vaginal examination where her os is open 2cm with cervix partially effaced and membrane +, station -3. Then we observe her for 2 hours then Dr. Boop came to check on her, same finding so he said let her progress slowly and we will see later if we need to accelerate her. Then when my shift ended, she was still comfortable walking around. I wonder how is she now.
Then I went to have dinner with Kim Fei, he came and fetched me. We went to McDonald to have the Ramadhan buffet. Wow…we ate so many things. I think I ate more than 30pieces of chicken nuggets. Then I have 4 packets of french fries, 1 packet of apple pie, 1 sundae fudge, 2 cups of corn and 3 cups of sodas. Its was like I am starving for few days.
Anyway I guess I am not that big eater comparing to the other malay guys. I thought they were until I realize they actually sneaking those burgers home via their bag. They kept on taking one whole tray of burger (8 per tray) and apple pie. Then calculating the boxes of burger on the table comparing with those amount they took, you will know they sneak it out. Anyway, who cares.
Tomorrow I will be off, asked mum to come to Kim Fei’s house to pick me up tomorrow. Then going to hunt for my tray to make konyaku jelly. Making it for my farewell party at the old building of my hospital since on the 18 of October we will be moving there. So 17 October is the last day for us to be there to eat and work and celebrate. Cool!! I shall take lots of photos and videos.
Toodle loo.
A new journey to new Pyramid October 8, 2007

On Sunday, I went to walk around at the new wing of Sunway Pyramid. The decoration is not as nice as the old building but it’s huge. More new outlets there. I took some photo with my mobile since my camera is still in the factory.
The new building ceiling decoration. Doesn’t seems much like Egypt style.
Look at the light tower. Something unique that I guess I have never seen in any of the shopping mall yet.
Can even view the Sunway Lagoon from the other end of the new building. At the Quicksilver outlet, we can view the inner of the lagoon theme park.
It’s the Marrakish Side Walk, it doesn’t look like Egypt walk but I think I feel like in Arab country walk. But it’s something unique.
Purposely candid camera at Kim Fei. He was busy looking around and I just called him and he looked over, snap! My ‘leng chai’
That day, we went to watch Resident Evil : Extinction. This movie is not too bad, anyway it’s all about Umbrella Corp. I like the game so much so I like this movie too. Not too bad for the action.
Yesterday my car seems to be giving me a little problem. Suddenly my car battery went weak I think it’s the connector. Anyway, mum knocked on the connector and the car lock can be opened or not I will be stuck inside. Then I was so scared I couldn’t start the car this morning to go to work. Anyway, luckily it work if not then I will have to take Emergency Leave. Luckily, I didn’t cause it’s a busy day today at work. Non stop from the moment I start working. I sent my patient to Sheela Maternity Home for Elective LSCS at around 0730hours. Then I reached back to my workplace around 0830hours, then the labourer has already delivered. A baby boy, so cute. Then a few hours later, another labour was to be bring in to the Labour Room. Then the progress was fast even though for a primid ( first pregnancy lady) but then there is rim around when doctor did vaginal examination. Anyway luckily she was able to make it and delivered just before my shift ends. Then quickly cleaned up everything and my colleague passed report over to the afternoon shift staffs. It was a busy day, outside admission till nearly filling up the ward. Then 2 patients for discharge. It was nice to be busy at least we don’t feel the time passing by slowly. Anyway, after work came back and rest for an hour or so then went for dinner. As usual, dinner at Zen, Subang. Mum and I ordered a lot of Ala Carte.
It tasted so delicious. But mum said the garlic rice doesn’t taste that nice cause not enough garlic. Tasted like normal fried rice only. Others were great. Ate until we couldn’t move. Below is the video showing mum cooking her beef dish.
Back from The Garden October 6, 2007

Finally, we visited the new wing of Mid Valley mega mall – The Garden. Mum, Aunt Chee and I went there around afternoon. I took some photo for Juliana to see since it will take a few months or maybe a year till she come back to visit Malaysia. Anyway, there is nothing interesting there except Gap is there too and Isetan. Anyway, it’s like KLCC there, every boutique is expensive ones. The decoration are better than the old building.
Just enter the entrance there is this spacey sitting lounge for shoppers.
The Garden monument. It’s rather unique.
Taken from below the middle passage connecting both corner. *Its still under construction*
Comes to the centre court, it looks a little like KLCC lift corner. Anyway, it’s unique where there is two chairs to sit.
The entrance of Robinson, extreme expensive store compare to Metrojaya.
Cafe in the centre court, taken above when entering Robinson.
A decoration in Robinson that I like.
1.
An incredible small iron that cost rm159
2.
A salt&pepper stand in egg shape.
3.
Salt&Pepper container in male&female shape.
4.
A stand to put egg.
5.
A yellow cup like with a cover.
6.
Turns out the yellow cup is a lemon squeezer.
7.
This is a towel ring with pattern – male, female, dog & dog bone. Cute!
8.
This is a butter container with a plastic spreader.
Taken when I am going up the escalator, finding the mirror at the wall rather fascinating.
Was taken when we are reaching the top floor where mum & Aunt Chee is in front of me. When my hand phone camera finally analyse the picture mum’s view was 1/2.
P.S. :
Even the toilet was great. Look at the washing bowl. Was waiting for Aunt Chee to come out from the toilet, bored waiting so took this photo. Don’t think I am crazy or what.
Anyway, we went to this restaurant to try out their Siu Long Bao. Forgot the restaurant name. It wasn’t good. Not tasty. The la mien is not tasty, even worst its tasteless. Anyway, the siu long bao was also bad. Then the Yuk Bao taste terrible, it’s skin was so thin and hard and rough. Not a restaurant that we will try again.
Then we went back to old wing and bought some dinner for dad and Kim Fei. Then way home. Nothing much to buy even though it’s Ramadhan sales. Then went to Metrojaya, really wanted a LeSportSac Toki Doki bag but it was so expensive the one I eye on was RM600. If to buy that bag I rather spend on DKNY or Guess bag but it was nice. Maybe I should ask Ju to see if she could find it at U.K. and also ask Jarod to see whether is it cheaper at U.S.
Back to the On Demand series. Today is the final episode where let me summarize the whole story for my sister. You see, the last you saw was when Chermaine told the truth about the accident it was her that bang Man Hong. Then because of that the share holder of the HwaZhe company agreed with Wing Piu that he should step down and let Wing Piu be the CEO. After Wing Piu became CEO, things became worst. He tried to introduce a new car and cheated in the documents to get approval from France Auto mobile. Then Chan Poong when and try to get the original document but Wing Piu was there and they went into some argument. Wing Piu used something to knock Chan Poong’s head and he went unconscious. Then Wing Piu used the letter opener that Chan Poong used to protect himself before getting knock to injured himself, so the whole scenario look bad for Chan Poong. Then Wing Piu’s wife was there and she saw everything but she fainted because over shocked. Then things became messy where she accused her own brother of injuring her husband. Then Wing Piu asked why she helped, then she said she doesn’t want the baby to lose a father. So Wing Piu trusted his wife. Then the whole thing was a setup by his wife to capture real information to make him confess to the police. He tried to persuade him later on at the end but he refused and pushed her. With that pushed her amnion membrane burst and leaked. He even locked her up in the house. Then he was so furious he tried to rushed to sell his share to the Japanese company. Then in the middle of the way, the 3 Wah brothers intercepted him. Trying to persuade him. Man Hoong successful to persuade him by saying his wife loves him so much that she did everything just for him and he himself Man Hoong has treated Wing Piu as his son that’s why he stepped down, he knew the whole thing about Wing Piu want to seek revenge. At last Wing Piu realize his mistake and rushed to get ambulance for his wife. Finally delivered. He confessed and was punished 3 yrs jail. Then the HwaZhe company became good and another car introduced successfully created by Chan Poong. At the end everyone was great. The end. If you wanna watch this drama…that day I surf the net and overcome this website that uploaded this series but I forgot the url. So if you really want to watch go surf for it.
Guilty but have to.. October 5, 2007

Today early morning around 5.30am, my hospital rang me up lots of time to ask me to do overtime cause 1 of my colleague took MC but then I told I really can’t help cause I just went to bed around 4am. I was knitting as usual. Then I think they rang till my hand phone is running out of battery so I went to put it outside of the second living hall to charge and they called again around 8.30am I think, I was in the bedroom sleeping so I couldn’t hear the ringing. Felt guilty because I think they really needed someone to work but I am very tired, how can I work without enough sleep. Furthermore I am driving from such a far place. I just woke up around 1pm to see the missed calls. Surely tomorrow everyone will be saying bad about me, when needed but I can’t help. You know working place, whenever they have the chance they will talk bad about each other. Pretty boring of their silly attitude, can’t they just be mature and let things go. Sometimes, I am bored with them being 2 different people in front and behind of me. I also don’t feel like working with full initiative but then think again I am not working for them, I am working for my own future.
Anyway, I asked mum to bring me to Mid Valley mega mall to have a look at the new wing “The Garden”, at first I thought of accompanied her to pay bills then straight go but by 10am she came in to woke me up I was pretty sleepy still, so she has to go pay the bills and come back again to pick me up. It’s already 1.30pm, I wonder what time will she be back. Thought of having the McD buffet for dinner tonight with Kim Fei, I guess it’s rather impossible, cause if I am having my lunch after 2pm, I wouldn’t be hungry till 9pm. Let see later.
Working in dilemma October 4, 2007

Today, I went to PMC Bangsar to fetch my patient. You guys must be wondering why am I going to another branch hospital to fetch my patient. You see, as my hospital is shifting to a new building, so the equipments in our Operation Theatre have been moved to the new building so no operation are allowed in our hospital. Due to that inconvenience, we have to borrow OT from our sister branch which is Bangsar where it is the nearest. Then while fetching this patient in the ambulance, she was asking me, “can I deliver my baby at Bangsar instead of Klang since her friend previously delivered at Bangsar?”, so I told her it’s impossible since when reaching her due date, we have already shifted to the new building so there is not transferring patient to Bangsar. Then she was a bit disappointed due to the image of the old building comparing with Bangsar. Of course Bangsar is a 5star hospital whereby Klang is only 2star. Then I reassure her that the new building will look much better maybe 3.5star. Then she was a bit relieve. She came to this hospital is just because of the Doctor. Sure enough our Dato Dr. Boopalan and Datin Dr. Noor are the best O&G Dr. So far I have seen so many tricky cases under them are solved. Just like some couples married for more than 7yrs couldn’t conceive and once they came to Dr. for treatment they conceived and delivered healthy babies. It’s a miracle and I believe it as I see through my own eyes and hear from them. When I told my patient about this she was shocked and said you sure they are so powerful, I said of course they are experience. They are not playing God just that they used their experience to help regulate the hormones in body to stabilize making sure ovulation and males sperm is in good condition for fertilization to occur.
I am proud of these two Dr. I am glad I am working under them. With their teaching, I understand a lot.
Moving soon~~ October 2, 2007

At last, postponing for such a long time. My hospital is finally moving to the new building few km away from the old one. Still waiting for the meeting tomorrow to finalize the whole thing and set the exact date to pack and move. But exact date to operate is 22nd October 2007. After a year and 3 months working here, at last I can work in a new building. Though at first when I came to this old building I really dislike working there, it’s so much different from PMC. Hope for the best in the new building. Will take some photo and post up later.
Today, my in charge sister told me that I was the top scorer for the Basic Life Support course. It’s just a day training course about CPR usage. I didn’t get the chance to get my certificate yet as I am quite busy these 2 days, so maybe tomorrow I can get it.
I am very tired from working. Better rest early.
